When your son joins Troop 52, he is automatically enrolled in the Pathways. It is a program designed to help with rank advancement and scouting orientation. We focus on helping the new scout through the first 4 ranks: Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class. Each weekly meeting has a 30 minute segment for the new scout to work with either an older scout or an adult leader. During that time, we work on teaching and practicing scout skills such as knot-tying, first-aid and compass to name a few.

Our goal is to reach First Class in one year's time. This is very do-able! Once they achieve the rank of First Class, they are solidly on their way to Eagle Scout and it is time to welcome a new group of boys into the Pathways Program.
