Campers, The new hope auto show is this weekend 8-14 and 8-15 and they have asked for the assistance of some boys in the troop. I have had replies from some scouts that are willing to help, but there is always a need for more. Food and Beverages will be provided for the helpers and this is an easy way to earn the service hours needed for rank advancement.

This is the year-end family celebration of our scouts and their accomplishments in Troop 52! We will have a pot luck barbeque followed by the Court of Honor in the grassy area behind the barn (park where you drop your kids off for trips).

Campers: It's time for our annual Memorial Day Barbeque at Briarleaf Nursing Home, Monday, May 31 (where we Christmas caroled in December). It will be after the parade and we're usually done by about 2PM. It's a short walk from the end of the parade - new guys, just follow the older members. They've been doing this for years! If you can bake some cookies to bring along, the residents would really appreciate it. They really seem to love our baked goods. I should be at the Nursing home by about 10am, if parents want to drop off cookies.
